Robin Lanehurst is a white, queer, non-binary and neurodivergent writer, educator, dreamer, and toddler mom. Their fiction and creative non-fiction has appeared in Motherwell, Rooted in Rights, PDX Parent, the Cobalt Review, and Gertrude Press, among other outlets. A former public school teacher and counselor, she often collaborates on curricular and communications projects with clients like the One Love Foundation, Wellness Together, and Savage Learning Environment, and is a teaching artist with Writers in the Schools. Robin was a finalist for the 2023 Summer Fishtrap Fellowship and long-listed for the 2021 Pen Parentis Writing Fellowship for New Parents, and she is a proud alumna of The Attic Institute's Creative Nonfiction Studio. They are currently seeking representation for their debut, MAMA: A MEMOIR OF DEATH AND LIFE, an epistolary work written to their late mother about the first year of their son's life in 2020.
